In A Nutshell:

• We are a totally volunteer operation operating to bring joy & comfort to others.

• We collect stuffed animals for kids and the elderly.

Needs and Pleads

• Baskets which we use for stuffing full of goodies

• Your new or gently used, clean stuffed animals

• New toys

• Bolts of ribbon

• Wreaths

• Childrens books

• Dentists can donate sample toothpaste, floss and brushes

• New small items that would bring a smile to someone (young or elderly) if packaged as a gift.

Operation Teddy Bear collects all types of stuffed animals and beanies to deliver to children and the elderly that need a friend.

We are collecting and will be distributing throughout many states.  It is strictly volunteer with no overhead and no salaries.  We are personally absorbing the expenses we incur.  We are not asking for cash donations.

Operation Teddy Bear was inspired by a project called Santa's Shop for the non-profit organization "Family Tree" held in December 2004 in Golden, Colorado.

We were so filled with enthusiasm and the idea of giving that we wanted to bring a smile to children and elderly year round - not just at Christmas!

Operation Teddy Bear was up and running by January 15, 2005 and by February had a large herd of animals to donate to those needing a comforting friend.

We would greatly appreciate you helping us in any way you can.

Please consider the smiles you will bring to the faces of so many. Call us today. (303) 526-7999

MEET OUR FORMER HEAD TEDDY BEARS!!!
Their willingness to take on this awesome volunteeer project
makes them very special angels!

At Joanie's invitation, Bonnie came arrived last November o help make Christmas baskets and fell in love with the concept of helping others through the donation of stuffed animals. With a little coaxing she assume the duties of Chair. Her home now graces a full time Christmas tree with hundreds of stuffed animals that come in and are later made into gifts for others. Seen here with Big Enos, our three hundred pound gorilla, who Geri, founder of O.T.B. donated. Big Enos is our company Mascot.

SunCorp Corporate Credit Union in Colorado makes regular collections from their employees. Joanie was/is in charge of the on going collections. With enthusiasm and talent she now serves as Marketing Director for Operation Teddy Bear.

Joanie has the talent to make things happen and among all of her other civic and church duties serves Operation Teddy Bear not only through her marketing abilities but getting the animals to where they need to be to do the most good.

If you have a need for some loved ones for young children or elderly, she wants to hear from you!
